The InterContinental New York Barclay hotel celebrated the culmination of its $180 million property-wide renovation with the debut of its luxurious two bedroom Penthouse. The top-story Penthouse exudes an opulent, contemporary design that is true to the hotel’s original 1920’s Federalist interior style. The Penthouse enhances its allure of glamour, elegance and distinction with the living room’s state-of-the-art video wall entertainment system powered by RGB Spectrum’s MediaWall® V 4K display processor.
The MediaWall V processor drives the large, touch-screen 3 x 3 display array which offers a wide variety of viewing content. The advanced video wall system is conducive to both business and leisure activities. Guests can keep apprised of news and sporting events, conduct video teleconferencing, access the internet, keep up with social media, enjoy entertainment from local and global television broadcasts and a selection of movies, and play video games.
The MediaWall V processor receives input from a variety of sources, including five cable television boxes, a blu-ray player, Xbox video gaming console, and multiple PCs. The MediaWall V processor consolidates these diverse sources and displays them in windows of any size, anywhere on the wall array. Guests can select inputs and choose display layouts from a selection of up to 60 presets from a touch panel. The processor’s advanced video wall features let guests overlap images and pan and zoom to view items of particular interest.
