Introducing RGB Spectrum’s Innovative Video-over-IP 4K Multiviewer
RGB Spectrum’s new Zio® Video-over-IP multiviewers allow multiple video streams and browser-based content to be viewed on a single display. A variety of models provide options for every application.
The compact Zio D2000 Series multiviewer allows up to four 1080p streams, or more at lower resolutions, to be displayed simultaneously. For applications requiring more streams, the Zio D3000 Series multiviewers build on this functionality, increasing the number of simultaneous streams displayed. For example, the D3124 model allows up to 16 1K, eight 2K or two 4K streams, or more at lower resolutions.
All multiviewer models can display Zio’s new WebView browser-based content along with video streams. Web pages, tickers, analytics – anything that can be displayed in a web browser – can be dragged and dropped onto a window on the screen along with encoded video streams. This unique feature facilitates digital-signage and data analytics applications.
Zio multiviewers are available in 2K and 4K models. Each can display a mix of streams at varying resolutions, scale any input up to 4K and route any stream to any display window. Both 2K and 4K inputs can be displayed without downscaling.
The Zio multiviewer product line is packed with versatile features, including displaying windows any size, anywhere on the screen, H.264 and H.265 decoding, a powerful scripting interface for external system control, HDCP compliance, zoom and pan, and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE). Custom presets allow you to easily save source routing and window layouts for quick recall.
The Zio user interface is the most intuitive in the industry. Operation is remarkably simple, providing for drag-and-drop of sources to displays. Live thumbnails of each stream and powerful search tools make finding the right content quick and easy.
The Zio Video-over-IP Architecture Advantage
RGB Spectrum’s novel Zio® Video-over-IP technology offers video and audio distribution over an IP network, replacing traditional dedicated switchers. Zio endpoints attach to a 1Gig Ethernet switch, with encoders accepting computer and video signals at resolutions up to 4K, and decoders for feeding displays. The Zio system offers seamless switching over the IP network infrastructure. Both dedicated and shared networks are supported.
For moving large amounts of data, an IP infrastructure excels. However, distributed video sources and destinations create unique challenges for time-sensitive and time-ordered video streams. Zio’s transport technologies and unique peer-to-peer architecture address these problems, with exceptional user control and performance management. An Video-over-IP system with a distributed management platform avoids costly server architectures and "single point of failure" vulnerability.
A room, a building, a campus, a city, or the world – LANs, WANs, even satellite links – Zio is up to the challenge.
