RGB Spectrum is pleased to announce the launch of a new design services program to better meet the needs of our valued partners world-wide. As part of our expanded Technical Services department, a team of highly-qualified Applications Engineers now provide custom-designed system solutions for specific projects.

Launched in September 2014, the Design Services team has created over 500 system drawings in response to engineering services requests. A large number of these requests have been for applications involving our Galileo Display Processor and MultiPoint Control Room Management System (Enterprise MCMS), but system drawings have incorporated components from our extensive range of products.

Our Technical Services team members design real solutions in response to real projects. They understand the intricacies of our products, and are trained to design systems which best utilize their capabilities. In response to a request, the team will create CAD drawings embedded with full, detailed information/specifications related to each system component. Completed drawings are accompanied by an automatically generated Bill of Materials (BOM), a full listing of the included components that reduces the possibility of human error. By providing drawings that can easily be incorporated into a larger overall system, our design services program is intended to complement the work done by our partners’ design teams.

Guided by strong design principles and a process that combines extreme consistency with the creativity to design innovative system solutions, the team focuses on developing the most efficient system that meets a customer’s requirements. For example, the team often receives design requests which appear to be extremely complicated; in response, however, the team has been able to break down the requirements and design alternative solutions that are more simple and elegant, and that address the challenges of the project much more effectively, than the original system request.
