RGB Spectrum Showcases Aerospace & Defense Visualization Technology
This year’s Space Symposium in Colorado Springs, CO was attended by over 9000 professionals representing all sectors of the global space community including space agencies, commercial space businesses, military, national security and intelligence organizations. RGB Spectrum showcased its latest advances in video wall processors, visualization and networked video solutions.
RGB Spectrum’s products are the de facto standard for mission-critical applications, simulation, training, missile testing, and C4ISR. They are found in the P-8 Poseidon trainer, Global Hawk/Triton UAV, F-16 and F-22, Apache, Kiowa, Chinook, and Blackhawk simulators, and throughout the U.S. Navy AEGIS destroyer fleet, the Canada Navy frigate fleet, and the THAAD and MEADS missile defense programs.
RGB Spectrum featured the versatile Galileo video wall processor. Supporting multiple walls and individual displays, Galileo video wall processors offer unmatched flexibility and features. A new "wall mimic" capability lets users encode the entire video wall or any portion of it as an IP stream to be viewed remotely. This unique capability permits operators to push any content anywhere in the world from the display wall processor.
The company also demonstrated Zio Video-over-IP, a complete solution for the transmission and display of networked video. The Zio product line provides a comprehensive solution, including encoders, decoders, multiviewers, wall processors, operator stations and mobile devices.
The new Zio app for mobile devices connects remote forces. The system allows remote users to select and view available streams as well as to allow system operators to "push" content out to remote users along with alerts.
Zio enterprise-wide functionality includes the ability to bridge LANs and WANs. The breadth of Zio Video-over-IP offerings plus integration with third-party hardware adds up to a complete networked video solution.
