RGB Spectrum TAA Compliance

External security threats continue to plague the U.S. business landscape, driven by cybercriminals looking to make money by stealing data and selling it to the highest bidder. Cybersecurity has become – and continues to be – a critical threat for the U.S. government.

To address these growing security risks, the U.S. Government and Department of Defense are increasing their requirements for procuring only United States Trade Agreements Act (TAA) compliant products. A product is TAA-compliant if manufactured or substantially transformed in the United States or manufactured in a TAA-designated country, a nation where the U.S. maintains a trade agreement and regards as a reliable procurement source.

TAA applies to all GSA Schedules, which are “long-term governmentwide contracts with commercial companies that provide access to millions of commercial produce and services at fair and reasonable prices to the government.”

In response to these requirements – and at the core of our business – RGB Spectrum is proud to offer an extensive line of TAA compliant and “Made in the USA” video products for customers in federal, state, and local government.

RGB Spectrum’s Zio platform and other video solutions are deployed in military applications worldwide, including:

  • P-8 Poseidon trainers
  • Simulators for the F-35
  • Global Hawk/Triton UAV
  • F-16 and F-22 aircraft
  • Apache, Kiowa, Chinook helicopters
  • NASA/Kennedy Space Center
  • U.S. Army Operational Test Command, U.S.
  • Japanese and Canadian Navy ships
  • THAAD, MEADS, CRAM and BAMS missile defense systems

At all levels of engagement with these customers, continuing to adhere to TAA or Buy American requirements is essential to our business.
