Viva the Fira at ISE 2023!

Barcelona’s first winter ISE 2023 event was hugely successful – not just for us. Organizers Integrated Systems Events confirmed that 58,107 unique attendees from 155 countries attended the Fira Barcelona Grand Via, with exhibitors reporting “unparalleled footfall” at their booths in the largest ever ISE show floor – a record 56,870sqm of floorspace over the show’s six halls and audio demo rooms.

RGB Spectrum displayed several products at our booth, all based around the Zio platform, the backbone of our decision support system.

The Zio 4000 is a full-function video wall processor with advanced networking capabilities, available as a stand-alone video wall solution or integrated with our enterprise-class platform. TAA-compliant, the Zio 4000 includes LDAP user authentication, display of locally stored videos, images, and the ability to display content using VNC or RDP.

The new compact, single-channel D2100 is our latest TAA-compliant H.264 decoder. Offering a low-latency, high-quality performance model with HDMI® or DisplayPort output options, it uses an embedded architecture for secure use and reliability.

Also, fully TAA-compliant, our new QuadView IPX multiviewer includes the ability to display up to four screens simultaneously, with embedded architecture offering security without PC vulnerabilities to external tampering and hacking. QuadView IPX is an ideal solution for mission-critical 24/7 operations, where reliability, security, high quality, and ruggedness count.

Finally, our XtendPoint KVM-over-IP solution provides secure communication and control for point-to-point extension, networked signal distribution, and control over a standard Gigabit Ethernet infrastructure. Display options include both single-view and multi-view monitors. When used alongside the Zio 4000 platform, users can route encoded output from TAA-compliant XtendPoint encoders to the video wall and to an operator’s desk–controlling remote systems across a room or enterprise.

We are expanding our international presence. During ISE 2023, we announced the appointment of Ken Pefkaros, our new European Sales Director, who will lead sales out of a new Paris office.

Connecting with Critical Infrastructure

Addressing one key focus area in critical infrastructure, we exhibited at DistribuTECH International 2023 in San Diego from February 7-9. A leading annual transmission and distribution event, DistribuTECH showcases technologies that move electricity from the power plant through the transmission and distribution systems. Like ISE 2023, we displayed new products and enhancements for driving data availability and accessibility. We also welcomed our partners in the booth – Winsted for control consoles and LG for displays – working together to build the “control room of the future.”

Military Matters

We also partnered with Planar to share our solutions with the military market at one of the industry’s most significant events, AFCEA West 2023 – showcasing the Zio 4000, XtendPoint KVM-over-IP Solution, and QuadView IPX multiviewer.

The premier naval conference and exposition on the West Coast, bringing military and industry leaders together, the exhibition is now in its 33rd year. Co-sponsored by AFCEA International and the U.S. Naval Institute, AFCEA West is the only event where makers of platforms and designers of technologies can network and demonstrate their solutions in a single locale.
